The Classic was formed in December 2021 in response to the community need for connection and levity. We began by curating an immersive experience in downtown Lincoln at the historic Odd Fellows building. Featuring professional actors, live music, a beautiful setting, and the classic story The Gift of the Magi, the event resonated deeply with audiences and received an overwhelmingly positive response.
In 2022, we forged a partnership with Rancho Roble Vineyards. There, we have created An Evening to Remember and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, activating their stunning grounds as a stage for an unforgettable evening of food, wine, and immersive performance. Since 2023, we have performed to sold-out crowds with a patron base of 6,000 with connectivity to Jessup University Theatre and Rancho Roble Vineyards. In attendance, we’ve had county supervisors, economic council leaders, and key artistic leaders from Sacramento to New York. Last year we were honored by a surprise performance from Tony Award-Winning performer, Stephanie J. Block.
